Recommended Betta Care

Providing the right environment helps your new betta thrive and display its natural beauty.

Aquarium Size: A minimum of 5 gallons is recommended, although larger aquariums provide additional swimming space and more stable water conditions.

Temperature: Maintain a consistent temperature between 78°F and 82°F using a reliable aquarium heater when necessary.

Filtration: Gentle filtration with minimal water movement is preferred, especially for long-finned varieties.

Aquarium Environment: Live plants, hiding places, smooth decorations, and resting areas near the surface provide security and enrichment.

Diet: Feed high-quality betta pellets supplemented with appropriately sized frozen or live foods.

Water Quality: Use properly conditioned water and maintain stable parameters through regular aquarium maintenance.

My betta lines have been raised for generations in domestic aquarium environments. I have found that consistent water conditions, proper acclimation, and attentive maintenance are especially important for their continued health.

Shipping & Arrival Information

I take great care when preparing every live fish shipment.

Shipping Days: Monday and Tuesday.

Fish are carefully packaged using insulated shipping materials and appropriate temperature-control packs when necessary.

Shipping schedules may be adjusted when weather conditions or carrier transit times could compromise livestock safety.

Live Arrival Policy:

• Live arrival coverage applies only to eligible shipping services.

• USPS shipments are excluded from the Live Arrival Guarantee.

• Any dead-on-arrival claim must be reported within 2 hours of the carrier's delivery scan.

• Clear photographs or video showing the fish inside the unopened shipping bag are required.

• Approved claims qualify for replacement livestock or livestock credit.

• Original shipping charges are nonrefundable.
